On November 20, 2019, the MVWD Board of Directors adopted Resolution 760-20 establishing a new four-year water rate schedule that goes into effect on January 1, 2020.
The new rates for 2020-2023 include changes to the existing budget-based tiered rate structure for single-family residential customers and irrigation meter customers; "pass through" charges for unforeseen increases in wholesale water rates/charges; and demand reduction rates. The increased rates ensure the District will continue to fund operational and facility replacement needs.
