Throughout the week, MVWD crews will periodically perform flushing activities at our facility on Palo Verde, just east of Mills Ave. This will result in a large amount of runoff on Palo Verde and Mills Ave. This is a necessary water release for system quality & maintenance. Please know this water is not being wasted. The water flushed from such activities is captured at various settling basins and will percolate back into the water table. Curious about the process?
