Monte Vista Water District will conduct a public hearing on the District's 2022 Public Health Goals Report in the Board Room at its District offices, 10575 Central Ave., Montclair, on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. Pursuant to Assembly Bill 361, this meeting may be conducted by teleconference.
MVWD has completed the mandated Public Health Goals Report. The report is intended to provide information in addition to the Annual Water Quality Report. Constituents detected above a public health goal (PHG) or maximum contaminant level goal (MCLG) in the District’s water supply between 2019 and 2021 are addressed in this report.
Pursuant to the requirements of California Health and Safety Code 116470(b), MVWD must prepare a report every three years containing the District’s drinking water quality with public health goals adopted by California Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) and/or with maximum contaminant level goals adopted by the U.S. Environmental Protection Association. The purpose is to provide consumers with information on levels of water quality constituents below enforceable, mandatory maximum contaminant levels (MCLs).
