[ARCHIVED] Public Health Goals Report Hearing

Monte Vista Water District will conduct a public hearing on the District's 2022 Public Health Goals Report in the Board Room at its District offices, 10575 Central Ave., Montclair, on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. Pursuant to Assembly Bill 361, this meeting may be conducted by teleconference.

MVWD has completed the mandated Public Health Goals Report. The report is intended to provide information in addition to the Annual Water Quality Report. Constituents detected above a public health goal (PHG) or maximum contaminant level goal (MCLG) in the District’s water supply between 2019 and 2021 are addressed in this report.

Pursuant to the requirements of California Health and Safety Code 116470(b), MVWD must prepare a report every three years containing the District’s drinking water quality with public health goals adopted by California Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) and/or with maximum contaminant level goals adopted by the U.S. Environmental Protection Association. The purpose is to provide consumers with information on levels of water quality constituents below enforceable, mandatory maximum contaminant levels (MCLs). MVWD Board of Directors will be conducting a public hearing on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. regarding the 2022 Public Health Goals Report. The public is invited to speak on any issues or concerns regarding this subject. To attend the meeting virtually, visit the District’s website for further instructions. Written comments may be submitted in advance to the Board of Directors by e-mail at Any correspondence received during or after the meeting will be distributed to the Board of Directors as soon as practicable and retained for the official record. The decision of the Board of Directors is final.
