The District recently contracted with True North Research Inc. to conduct telephone and online surveys to learn customers' opinions of District performance, whether expectations are being met and hear any concerns with water services. Customers will be contacted through email and/or text with an invitation to participate in the survey. The survey can be completed online through a password protected-link or via telephone interview, whichever method is preferred.
Researchers anticipate 400 surveys will be conducted over a two-week period, yielding statistically reliable results. Survey responses are completely anonymous and a high level summary will be presented to the District. MVWD is interested in customers' values, opinions of water quality, service satisfaction, as well as preferences for District communication.
Five years have passed since customers were last surveyed. While the previous survey results will provide benchmarks, this customer opinion survey will provide customer feedback to help guide District programs and strategic initiative projects. True North will present a final report to the Board of Directors and it will also be posted here on the website once it's available.
