MVWD is requesting proposals from interested/qualified consultants or firms to provide consultant services for a Customer Opinion Survey project. It has been five years since the last customer opinion survey, which aligns with the 2025 Strategic Plan initiatives as well the survey timeline established in the preceding strategic planning document. The District is seeking feedback on its performance of core functions to establish a baseline of customer satisfaction level as work on the 2025 Strategic Plan gets underway.
Customer Opinion Survey RFP
Since the RFP was released, the District has received inquiries with follow up questions seeking clarifications. The questions and answers are posted here for access by firms interested in submitting a proposal.
1. Is there a preference or set-aside for small or diverse business? No
2. Could you let us know the budget for this project? $25,000
3. Could the district consider an extension in the due date ? No
4. How soon would the District like the survey to be completed? As stated in the RFP, “While there is no timeframe established, the District intends to get started on the Project as quickly as possible in order to stick to timelines established by the IAP and the preceding strategic planning document.”
5. Would all the meetings with the selected Consultant be remote or would we need to come to the district in-person for the meetings? Undetermined
6. Can you let us know the incumbent who had conducted the earlier surveys? True North Research, Inc.
7. Would the District have a preference for working with the earlier Incumbent or is the District looking to work with a new company? The District is seeking proposals from qualified candidates and the selection process is outlined in 6.2 of the RFP.
8. In point no 4.3 of the RFP -task no 3 on page 5 it is mentioned "Recruit customers for survey participation." Our question: Is the [District] offering any incentives to the customers to participate in the survey? No
