The District has established policy and procedures in accordance with Governor Brown’s Water Shutoff Protection Act, which was signed into law on September 28, 2018. The act requires water systems to adopt a written policy on discontinuation of residential water service for non-payment, which must also be available in the following languages:
- English
- Chinese (Simple or Traditional)
- Korean
- Spanish
- Tagalog
- Vietnamese
